Yellow Stork Tea Matcha+ Ashwagandha is a unique combination of matcha tea powder with ashwagandha root extract, standardized to 7% withanolides.
Matcha is a type of green tea from Japan that is known for its intense flavor, intense green color and rich flavor profile. The matcha production process is different from traditional teas. Shortly before harvest, tea bushes intended for matcha production are shaded, which causes the leaves to become rich in chlorophyll. The leaves are then hand-picked, dried and ground into a very fine powder - matcha.
The most important feature of matcha is that it is consumed whole, as a suspension, and not just as an infusion, so it retains most of its beneficial properties. This is also due to the fact that it is not fermented or oxidized before grinding.
Matcha is a source of antioxidants, including catechins, theine, tannin, theanine and antioxidants.
Ashwagandha is another name of the plant Withania somnifera. It comes from Southeast Asia and is cultivated there on a large scale, which is why it has been used in Ayurveda, i.e. traditional Indian medicine, for many years. Today, due to the presence of withanolides, it is believed to have primarily adaptogenic effects.
