PiLeJe Lactibiane CND 10M is a probiotic that contains two carefully selected strains of lactic acid bacteria – Lactobacillus helveticus LA 401 candidis and Lactobacillus gasseri LA806.

Lactobacillus helveticus candidis LA 401 is a lactobacillus of scientifically proven effectiveness in fighting pathogenic microorganisms, especially yeast-like fungi from the Candida species. It has been isolated from a large group of Lactobacillus helveticus bacteria that naturally colonise the human intestines. They can also be found in some foods, especially fermented.

Lactobacillus gasseri LA806 is a relatively new probiotic strain with the ability to strengthen the intestinal barrier. Bacterial species belonging to Lactobacillus gasseri may inhibit the formation of biofilm by Candida albicans and also show the activity against Candida tropicalis and Candida parapsilosis.

The yeast-like Candida fungi are the most common microorganisms colonising the digestive system. They are harmless during homeostasis.
