Aliness PrenaCare^® Complete for pregnant and lactating women is a comprehensive formula tailored to the needs of women not only throughout pregnancy, but also during breastfeeding. The preparation consists of two types of capsules filled with different contents. The hard capsules contain vitamins and minerals, while the soft capsules are a source of vitamin D and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) derived from microalgae oil.

The composition based on the recommendations of PTGiP

According to the latest recommendations of the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians, five ingredients should be given special attention in supplementation of pregnant women. Three of them - folates, vitamin D3 and DHA - have been included in the preparation by the manufacturer. Supplementation of the other two - iodine and iron - should be considered more individually, so they are not included in the product formula.

4th generation active folate

The product contains the glucosamine salt of (6S) -5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid. It is a highly absorbable, 4th generation active folate that does not require additional transformations and is ready for use by the body. This form is especially indicated in people with reduced activity of the MTHFR gene.

Natural source of DHA

The offered product contains high-quality oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. DHA ORIGINS®, which is a source of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). This unique formula leaves no unpleasant aftertaste. Maternal intake of docosahexaenoic acid supports normal brain development in the fetus and breastfed infants.

The supplement contains a set of key vitamins and minerals, specially developed for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Folates contribute to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and are involved in the process of cell division. Moreover, together with vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and choline, they are involved in maintaining normal homocysteine metabolism. Vitamin D is essential for the health of bones and teeth and supports the proper functioning of the immune system. Magnesium helps in the proper functioning of the muscles and nervous system.
