An activating blend is built on the basis of substances with activating, stimulating, increasing psycho-physical performance - caffeine and its analogues (e.g. Mateiny). Additional ingredients are amino acids that may affect the levels of neurotransmitters (phenylalanine, taurine and tyrosine), and extracts of ginseng root, maca etc. A cautious use of activating blend is recommended, due to the introduction of geranamine into its composition, which, from 2009 is on the list of prohibited substances (doping) by The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
