Chelates (chelate complexes) are formed by the ligands (negative ion) or with partial coordinating binding with central ion in at least two positions of the molecule, dissolves in organic solvents. Used in complexometry in chemical analysis and in medicine for the treatment of severe heavy metals poisoning (antitoxin). In the sports supplementation, the following are used: amino acid chelate, zinc amino acid chelate, magnesium, magnesium creatine chelate. Recommended in the process of recovery after intensive training. Used in the form of mono-preparations and in the vitamin, vitamin-mineral and mineral supplements, creatine stacks and nitrogen boosters.
