Cissus quadrangularis (Asthisamharaka) - a plant originating from India, a relative of vines. Used in ancient medicine as an anti-inflammatory medicament and bringing the regeneration of bone tissue, it is currently recommended in cases of osteoporosis as well as supporting the bones after sports injuries. It contains a number of active substances (including triterpenoids, alpha-sitosterol). Inhibits the activity of cortisol and affects the development of muscle tissue.
