Dipsacus extract – fights pathogenic microorganisms (including Borrelia burgdorferi spirochetes), can be used before, after or during the antibiotic treatment of borreliosis, as it acts synergistically with it. The extract itself is not an antibiotic. It is an herb able to change the organism environment and at the same time able to kill Borrelia burgdorferi. Muscles and cells are stimulated to secret the bacteria into bloodstream, where it can be broken down.
In the same way it fights fungal infections. Candida is normally present in the human body system, however an uncontrolled development can lead i.e. to serious disorders of intestinal flora. In such case, the extract also acts synergistically with antibiotics and promotes release of excessive amounts of Candida into bloodstream.
Dipsacus extract shows painkilling and anti-inflammatory properties, which is why, used externally, it can reduce rheumatism symptoms. Moreover, it shows diaphoretic an diuretic properties, so that it promotes body system detoxification, by stimulating urine flow. It relieves the body system of salt and water which are responsible for swelling. Moreover, it stimulates the digestive system for more efficient work, which increases production of digestive juices and bile. It shows hepatoprotective properties and hence protects the liver.
