Hoodia Gordonii is a leafless African plant, which flowers has a the smell of rotten flesh, causing appetite suppression. Its active compound are steroid glycosides (hoodigenin, calogenin), of which activity is not fully understood by science. As a means of effectively suppressing appetite are recommended for people, who want to reduce body fat, through increased metabolic rate. Due to the reguarions of WADA and the Polish law, it disappears from the domestic market.
