Alpha-ketoglutarate L-valine is an advanced form of valine (branched chain amino acid) having a high ergogenic potential, taken from the muscle during exercise, is consumed for energy purposes. It prevents catabolism and affects the processes of post-workout recovery. Also, alpha-ketoglutarate, which is an intermediate product of the Krebs cycle, is involved in the production of energy. In addition, the two substances combined in one molecule exhibit enhanced activity (synergism), allowing for better use of valine by muscle tissue. Often used in combination with other amino acids (especially leucine and isoleucine). Particularly important is the administration of supplements during the period of heavy strength exercises and for people taking a low-calorie diet.
L-Valine Alpha-ketoglutarate is widely used in sports, as a part of the amino acid products (including recent supplements, for example. BCAA) and pre- and post-workout supplements, enhancing exercise capabilities (strength and endurance), and enabling fast biological renewal.
Dosage: a single dose of 1-2 mg, a dose normally used before and after workout, also during exercise.
