Piascledine 300, available without prescription medicament containing unsaponifiable fractions of avocado oil and of soya and excipients i.e.: colloidal silicon dioxide, butylated hydroxytoluene, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, and gelatin. The capsules containing the drug are two-tone. Piascledine is one of the medicines with delayed onset activity, used for the treatment of osteoporosis, mitigating the effects of damage to the articular cartilage, consequently improving the functioning of the locomotor system. With a doctor's prescription, it can be associated with other analgesics. Soybean oil is extracted from seeds (Semen sojae) of soybean (Soja hispida), it is one of the most beneficial for the health of oils, which is a source of unsaturated fatty acids: linoleic acid, oleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid and a small amount of saturated fatty acids. It contains the beta-sisterol which has an effect on blood cholesterol levels, therefore reducing atherosclerotic lesions. It also contains nutrients, vitamins (B group and vitamin E) and minerals (phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron). Contraindication to use of the drug for children under the age of 14 and pregnant women.
