PurpleBolic Complex is a specific combination of leucine (an amino acid branched) and beta-alanine. Leucine (Essential amino acid) is one of three branched chain amino acids, ketogenic, its isomer is isoleucine. It affects the secretion of anabolic hormones (insulin, combined carbohydrates), acts on enzymes (mTOR) starting the process of muscle protein synthesis and controlling its course. Protein synthesis by leucine is affecting the development of bone, muscle and skin. It works reductively on fat. Without the availability of leucine, protein synthesis is impossible. Beta-alanine is one of the β-amino acids (the same group to which the I-alanine belongs, but with different chemical properties) in combination with histidine, forms β-alanyl-L-histidine (carnosine) a compound having antioxidant, chelating and buffering properties. Carnosine reduces the level of hydrogen ions in the cell and allows the extension of the effort, greater strength and endurance and affects biological regeneration after workout. Substances contained in the complex have the anabolic and anti-catabolic potential, allowing for prolonged effort.
