Skimmed milk powder is produced by a process with cow's milk. The sequential phases to obtain skimmed milk powder are centrifugation (separation of the cream, to obtain skim milk), pasteurizing (heating are intended to damage found in milk microbial) concentration (to get rid of excess of water), evaporation (to get rid of the rest of the water, as the result of evaporation, in milk powder there is hidden 2 - 4% water). Skimmed milk powder contains small amounts of fat, 1/3 are proteins, lactose ½, 2/25 minerals.
