Vincamine is indole alkaloid occurring in periwinkle (Vinca minor). The raw material is a medical herb of periwinkle plant (Herba Vincae minoris) containing almost 30 different alkaloids, which can be divided into four groups: vincamine, vincotine and vinkanorin and flavonoids, tannins and triterpenes. Vincamine improves the cerebral circulation transferred from the small cerebral vessels to gray matterof the brain. It has antitoxic, antispasmodic properties, improves appetite and metabolism, is antiatherogenic and tranquilizing. In sports supplementation it improves the transport of nutrients, improves concentration and intellectual skills. Improves exercise parameters.
